What people ask us most.
General answers. Every case is reviewed at the first consultation.
Am I entitled to Portuguese nationality?
It depends on your connection to Portugal: ancestry, marriage or partnership, length of residence, among others. The law changed recently, so we review your case under the current rules.
What is the D7 visa?
It is a residence visa for people with regular passive income, such as pensions or rental income. We explain the requirements and documents.
Are a visa and a residence permit the same?
No. A visa lets you enter Portugal for a specific purpose. You then need a residence permit to stay and live here.
How long does an application take?
It varies a lot with the type of application and the authorities’ timelines. We give you an honest estimate and keep you informed.
