What type of company should I set up?
It depends on the number of partners, the risk and your plans. The most common are the private limited company (Lda.) and the single-member Lda. We explain the differences.
Can a foreigner set up a company in Portugal?
Yes. You need a tax number (NIF) and, in some cases, a tax representative. We handle the process, remotely if needed.
What do I need to do to comply with the GDPR?
Know what data you collect, why and for how long, inform people and protect that data. We carry out the review and prepare the documents.
Can I dismiss an employee for just cause?
Only in the cases set out in the law and with a proper disciplinary procedure. A procedural mistake can make the dismissal unlawful. Talk to us before acting.
